A Maldivian company, in business since 2000.

Eureka Private Limited was founded on 12 October 2000, in local tourism, wholesale and retail. Twelve years later the businesses it had grown into were brought together as Eureka Holding Private Limited.

Today the group works across hardware and building materials, construction and carpentry, guest houses, cafés and restaurants, retail, real estate, land transport and a safari vessel. Almost all of it is in Hulhumalé, the island we have been building on since 2005, and all of it is run from one head office on Dhigga Magu.

History

One ring for every turn.

A tree keeps its years as rings. So does our mark: three arcs, drawn the same way. Here are ours.

  1. 2000Eureka Private Limited is founded, in local tourism, wholesale and retail.
  2. 2005Construction begins in Hulhumalé, including our own four-storey building on Lot 10097.
  3. 2012The businesses are brought together as Eureka Holding Private Limited.
  4. 2014Eureka Serenity Athiri Inn and Athiri Café are established.
  5. 2015Eureka Airport Inn and Voilà follow, and the transport department starts with two vehicles.
  6. 2016Fancy Wood Works and Eureka Hardware Connect are established.
  7. 2017Work starts on our tallest building yet: six storeys on Lot 11191.
  8. 2018Eureka Five Eleven is established, near Rehendhi School.
  9. 2023Building begins on a 17-cabin safari vessel.
